About the Role
The Account Manager ensures projects are clean, green, and detailed. All punch list items will be completed in a timely manner in collaboration with Crew Supervisors, Staff, and Irrigation Technicians. This role reports to the Regional Manager and supports property goals.
Responsibilities
- Service maintenance accounts, complete punch lists, service requests, and conduct site walks with follow-up communication between clients and Mission management.
- Manage Crew Supervisors, Staff, and Irrigation Technicians to meet maintenance specifications, emphasizing grass, weeds, trimming, cleanliness, and safety.
- Maintain client satisfaction by adhering to maintenance specifications.
- Train and coach Crew Supervisors, Staff, and Irrigation Technicians in alignment with company values.
- Submit staff payroll, invoicing, proposals for minor items, and other paperwork on time.
- Prepare monthly reports for equipment, tool inventories, and truck status.
- Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; address complaints; and resolve problems.
Expectations
Ensure accounts and staff operate safely, productively, and on target with profit goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; minimum three years of related Account Manager experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal skills preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, computation of rate, ratio, percent, and interpretation of bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and handle problems involving several concrete variables.
- Valid California driver’s license with a DMV driving record acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier.
- California state Pest Control Applicator’s License.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle tools, and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Requires specific vision abilities: peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
