About the role
BruZiv Landscaping LLC is a locally owned full-service landscaping/snowplowing/construction company, offering quality landscaping, snowplowing service and construction across the Northeast Ohio area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of laborers and technicians on job sites
- Interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings
- Install hardscape features such as:
- Paver patios and walkways
- Retaining walls
- Steps and outdoor living spaces
- Drainage systems
- Operate and oversee use of equipment (skid steers, compactors, saws, etc.)
- Ensure proper site preparation, grading, and base installation
- Maintain quality control and ensure work meets company and client standards
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and team members
- Train and mentor crew members
- Enforce safety procedures and OSHA compliance
- Manage materials, tools, and daily job site logistics
- Track progress and report on project timelines
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hardscape installation
- 10+ years of snow plowing using a truck, dump truck, skid steer & loader
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of hardscape construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret plans and measurements accurately
- Experience operating construction equipment
- Valid driver’s license (REQUIRED)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labor
Qualifications
- Experience with segmental retaining wall systems
- Knowledge of drainage and grading principles
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ICPI guidelines)
- Basic math and layout skills (grading, elevations, measurements)
