Landscape Designer

Responsibilities

• Met with clients to design projects and sell installation projects
• Maintains collections and client relations
• Prepares site plans, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape construction projects
• Visits construction sites to ensure client's vision is implemented
• Responsible for all client relations prior, during, and after the design build process
• Generates plans in CAD and generates 3D models
• Create submittals for estimating and production
• Create and process change orders
• Aid with project close-out
• Create construction details and dimensioning
• Respond to sales inquiries and requests by phone, electronically, or in person
• Track and analyze sales
• Actively pursue new sales opportunities
• Research materials and techniques as required
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, builders, sub-contractors, vendors, and coworkers promptly and courteously
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape design or landscape architecture
• 2-3 years of sales experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in residential landscape construction and design
• One year of Sketchup or other 3D modeling software experience
• Three years of AutoCAD experience
• Experience with sprinkler and landscape lighting design preferred

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
• Able and willing to pass a pre-employment drug screening & Background Check

Skills

• Estimating and job costing experience
• Horticulture background preferred

Pay

$75k to $150k including commission, depending on education and experience.

Schedule

Hours vary and are dependent on business needs. Weekends may be needed to satisfy the workload.
