Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of high-end residential clients, providing expert consultation and ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Drive revenue by selling enhancement services (design/build, drainage, fine gardening) and renewing annual maintenance contracts.
- Directly supervise and schedule dedicated field crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the company’s high quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor property conditions, proactively identify issues, and propose solutions before the client asks.
- Collaborate with specialized internal divisions (Tree, Irrigation, Design) to execute comprehensive property care plans.
- Ensure project profitability and assist with receivables/collections when necessary.
- Participate in winter snow and ice management operations as a salaried leader (plowing or operational management required).
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on professional landscape experience; prior experience in account management or crew leadership is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance best practices, and enhancement design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry software (Aspire experience is a major plus) and general tech-savviness; this is a nearly paperless environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage demanding, high-net-worth clientele.
- Licensing: A valid Driver’s License is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 Base Salary (Dependent on experience).
