Job Duties

  • Manage and litigate a docket of residential and commercial landlord-tenant cases, including non-payment proceedings, holdovers, HP proceedings, and related housing disputes.
  • Appear in Housing Court and other relevant tribunals to represent firm clients.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery materials, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients on matters involving condo and coop law, rent stabilization, regulatory compliance, and eviction proceedings.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure effective case progression.
  • Stay current on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.

Pay

The range of base salary the Firm reasonably expects to pay for this role is $180,000 to $210,000. The actual base salary for this role within the above range will depend upon number of years out of law-school, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
