About the role

Nelson Mullins is seeking a Business Litigation Staff Attorney to join its Litigation group in the Columbia, South Carolina office.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in various business litigation matters
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
  • Participate in depositions and trials
  • Manage case files and deadlines

Requirements

  • More than 1 year of experience as an attorney
  • Knowledgeable in business litigation
  • Comfortable with frequent court appearances
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Academic excellence
  • Member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in South Carolina
