Landlord Liaison – Auburn, AL

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this combined position is to oversee and coordinate landlord outreach efforts for the Emergency Housing Voucher Program (EHV) and provide administrative support for the Public Relations/Resident Services Departments and the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Responsibilities

• Provide housing search assistance to EHV clients who are experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, formerly homeless, or at risk of homelessness.
• Respond to property owners’ questions and inquiries.
• Perform landlord outreach efforts which include meeting with various interested parties to discuss the advantages of participating in the EHV Program, on-site visits at apartment complexes or realtors’ offices, and conducting presentations and attending meetings where interested parties may be present.
• Serve as Landlord Liaison for AHA.
• Assist the Director of Public Relations and Compliance in compiling agency newsletters, maintaining the AHA website, marketing, and outreach efforts, and other needs related to Resident Services.
• Assist with the AHA’s Accounts Payable function and complete other finance-related tasks as designated by the COO.
