Land Surveyor / Instrument Person

About the role

Holden Engineering & Surveying is expanding its surveying staff to meet demands for ongoing and upcoming projects across a growing 40-year base of commercial and municipal clients. Work with a dedicated and friendly team of professional engineers, civil technicians, surveyors, and CADD personnel to deliver quality site plans for commercial and municipal projects across NH, MA, VT, and ME. Our surveying office is conveniently located just minutes from I-93 in Concord, NH.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the survey department as an instrument person
• Work with instruments in the field as a team member in an expanding, fast-paced land survey department
• Perform field survey work for boundary line surveys
• Conduct topographic surveys
• Handle total station and GPS data collection
• Manage GPS photo control
• Perform construction staking
• Complete other similar types of survey field tasks

Qualifications

• Experience in the use of total station data collection and GPS equipment
• Desire to work with instruments in the field as a team member

Pay
