Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, data collectors, and other surveying equipment
- Perform boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys
- Collect, process, and verify survey data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Absorb, prepare survey drawings, maps, legal descriptions, point clouds, and related documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field crews to ensure project requirements are met
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and properly store all surveying equipment
- Ensure compliance with company safety protocols
- Support licensed surveyors and senior staff with project-related tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Experience in land surveying or construction layout preferred
- Ability to read and interpret plans, maps, and legal descriptions
- Strong math, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- LSIT/PLS license required
- Must be a US Citizen
