Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, construction layout and as-built surveys

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise one or more field survey team members
  • Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, construction layout and as-built surveys
  • Collect, process and verify field data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare field notes, sketches and daily photos for project
  • Establish horizontal and vertical control networks
  • Ensure all survey work complies with Company standards, project requirements and state surveying requirements
  • Maintain survey equipment is in proper working condition and calibration as required
  • Monitor crew productivity and provide training and mentoring to junior staff

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency operating Leica equipment, Carlson GPS and data collection software
  • Thorough understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, field procedures and construction staking
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required
