Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record
  • Valid Sales License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards
  • Basic technology skills (Email, Microsoft Office, Mobile Device, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Spend time outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas
  • Regular sitting, standing, and walking
  • Infrequent bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and squatting
  • Lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
  • Infrequent reaching and lifting overhead, climbing stairs
  • Regular repetitive hand/finger movement
  • Infrequent grasping/grabbing with hands
  • Pushing and pulling

Responsibilities

  • Devote yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening
  • Attend company meetings as required
  • Maintain a follow-up system, including designated CRM processes
  • Establish personal performance goals consistent with company standards and devise strategies to meet them
  • Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve time utilization and planning
  • Understand business terminology and stay updated on product and service technology changes
  • Know and comply with federal, state, and local requirements governing the company’s business
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors and work rules/procedures
  • Participate in performance management and interact positively with others to influence employee morale
  • Uphold company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas and profit margin goals
  • Introduce customers to parts, service, F&I, and general merchandise departments
  • Utilize floor time effectively to meet customer needs and solicit sales
  • Use established procedures for handling warranty items, completing paperwork, and maintaining the computerized inventory control system
  • Actively develop prospects and demonstrate product advantages compared to other brands
  • Cross-sell accessories, parts, F&I products, service contracts, and warranties
  • Greet customers promptly and follow the outlined sales process
  • Verify customer qualifications and handle complaints with empathy and a pleasant attitude
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure consistent customer treatment by following documented procedures
  • Conduct courteous and prompt telephone transactions
  • Create a memorable vehicle delivery experience to foster customer loyalty
  • Use a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales
  • Perform pre-delivery inspection and road test before customer delivery
  • Attend pertinent trainings and stay current with sales techniques
  • Sell/lease and deliver a minimum of 9 units per month
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to their responses
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects
  • Describe optional equipment available for purchase and offer test drives
  • Follow dealership procedures for test drives and sales control/follow-up systems
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales
  • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards and attend sales meetings
  • Stay informed about new products, features, accessories, and their benefits
  • Understand equity, values, and depreciation to explain to customers
  • Ensure the sales manager meets each customer and turn 100% of closed deals to the business and insurance manager with completed paperwork
  • Write complete sales orders and process paperwork according to dealership policies
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery and introduce customers to service department personnel
  • Schedule first service appointments and follow up on post-delivery items (tag/title work, 'we-owes', special requests)
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Maintain a prospect development system and document all customer communication in CRM
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as directed

Pay

$16.90 per hour plus bonus up to $16,500.00 per month, varying based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
