Land Rover Mainline Technician - Up to $20k Sign on Bonus

Pay Range: $39.39–$52.52 per flat-rate hour. Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus based on qualifications. Relocation assistance available. Guaranteed 40 hours for first 90 days.

Paid Offsite Training

• We pay 8 hours per day for offsite training.

About the role

The Mainline Technician performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology and digital manuals, keeping the shop area neat and organized, accounting for dealership tools, and road-testing vehicles to ensure quality repair. The role requires adapting to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive and diagnostics arenas.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
• Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repair.
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena.

Requirements

• 1 year or more of automotive technician experience.
• Technical auto training or Land Rover certifications; ASEs are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; clean MVR or minimal violations.
• Willingness to undergo background requirements.
