LAND BOUNDARY SURVEYOR I - OAHU

Responsibilities

• Performs field surveying computations and land boundary research.
• Gathers information from maps, deeds, land titles, metes and bounds descriptions, or other sources.
• Plots field notes and land boundary data, traces final land maps, and prepares simple metes and bounds descriptions.
• Operates surveying instruments during field work.
• Serves as chief-of-party on routine surveys.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Land Surveying, Geo-Science, or Engineering.
• Driver's License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
• Special Requirements: Some positions may require lifting and carrying objects of varying weights without assistance or with the assistance of another person and/or the use of equipment (e.g., hoisting equipment, hand truck, etc.) for heavier loads, with or without reasonable accommodation.
