About the role
The Lancaster Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including food and beverage, box office, security, maintenance, and related areas. This role requires maintaining active contact with the Client/Contract Administrator, ensuring compliance with contracts, and coordinating various programs and events.
Responsibilities
- Maintains active contact with the Client/Contract Administrator and monitors Legends compliance with all contract provisions.
- Maintains relationships with clients, sponsors, and related staff.
- Coordinates and implements specific plans and programs, including training and development, safety/emergency procedures, crowd control, and crisis management.
- Prepares and maintains required reports/records for the Client/Contract Administrator and the Corporate Office.
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs activities and personnel to maintain and operate the facility.
- Counsels and trains administrative and supervisory staff.
- Evaluates facility practices and recommends improvements.
- Oversees the day of Food & Beverage execution and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration or related fields.
- Experience in contract negotiation, business law, purchasing procedures, and supervising personnel.
- Experience in labor relations and union contracts, if applicable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.
- Knowledge of facility operating standards, building maintenance, custodial, personnel, and office management.
