Lamination Operator

Main duties and responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks, including operating the Laminating Press and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area.
• Understand and manipulate computer software related to the operation of the Laminating press and associated equipment.
• Identify and report conditions that may lead to substandard quality or downtime, and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairing, or performing preventive maintenance on equipment to support continuous operations.

Requirements

• The ability to drive a forklift.
• The ability and willingness to work overtime, including some weekends.
• The ability to work effectively with other members of the facility team.
• The ability to work without constant supervision.
• The ability to multi-task and creatively problem solve.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• The ability to diagnose machine problems and report to maintenance.
• The ability to perform basic, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work at heights using a man-lift or scissor lift.
• The ability to read and understand complex written instructions.
