Description Job Summary A Pier Staff member is responsible for representing the marina in a professional and courteous manner, serving as the face of the business during a wide array of customer inquiries on a daily basis. A Pier Staff member provides the highest level of prompt courteous-customer service at all times while maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming place to do business. This is a part-time seasonal position that could lead to full-time work for the right candidate. Must be able to work weekends. Job Responsibilities & Duties In general, Pier Staff member duties include but are not limited to: Greets all marina guests, customers and co-workers in a prompt and courteous mannerIs safety conscious and follows all documented workplace proceduresAccurately performs sales transactions of fuel, ice and miscellaneous suppliesAssists customers with docking and securing boatsAssists with loading and launching boats on and off trailersDemonstrates proactive care for the environment by avoiding gas/oil spills and properly disposing of litter Qualifications & Requirements Age 16 or olderBoating experience preferred, but not requiredMaintain a professional appearance at all timesTeam-oriented, self motivated and process drivenUnderstand and follow directions, company policies, and established proceduresWork independently, be self motivated and act in safety oriented manner at all times
