About the role

Responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients in a residential setting. Facilitate group activities and support staff in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions according to treatment plans and clinical guidelines.
  • Facilitate group activities designed to promote client growth and recovery.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in a residential or community-based setting.
  • Experience with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Current LADC license.
  • Experience with group facilitation and trauma-informed care.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of addiction and mental health disorders.
