Lactation Consultant, RN

Hourly pay range: $49.93 - $72.40

About the role

Reporting to the MCH Director and Couplet Care Manager, the Lactation Consultant/Lactation Educator provides coordination of patient and staff education to support, protect, and promote breastfeeding for both inpatients and outpatients at Redlands Community Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program preferred, required for Lactation Consultant RN

Certifications/Licenses

• Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred; required for Lactation Consultant RN
• Certified Lactation Education Credential required for Lactation Educator
• Current International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification required for Lactation Consultant
• Current CPR certificate required
• NRP required for RN Lactation Consultants or Lactation Educator
