About the role
This position involves coordinating patient and staff education to promote and support breastfeeding within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Providing breastfeeding education and support to patients and staff
- Ensuring adherence to nursing standards and practices
- Contributing to a positive patient experience and healthcare outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in obstetrics focusing on breastfeeding
- Current Nevada RN license
- IBCLC or CLC certification, along with BLS and NRP certifications
- Knowledge of Nevada State Board of Nursing Practice
