Responsibilities
Responsible for providing high quality education programs and activities that promote health of the patient and community through the life cycle, and individual development of the staff according to learning needs identified through a variety of sources to facilitate patient care.
Qualifications
- Education
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- Required Bachelors Degree of Nursing
- PREFERRED: Preferred Bachelors Degree of Nursing
- Work Experience
- Required: 2 years of clinical nursing in area of specialty
- Preferred: 1 year of education experience
- Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
- IBCLC - International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Preferred or has received certification as a breastfeeding counselor Preferred
