Requirements

• Current IBCLC certification, required
• High School Diploma, required
• 4 Year/ Bachelor's Degree, preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in mother/baby care or breast feeding education, required
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state, preferred
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
• Excellent customer service skills

What You'll Do

Provides breastfeeding guidance to patients, families, staff, and community in delivering education, information and training that responds to individualized needs in accordance with the current policies and procedures.
