About the role
Develops policies, procedures and professional guidelines in the delivery of care to breastfeeding women.
Assesses, plans, implements, documents, and evaluates plan of care regarding breastfeeding women.
Responsibilities
- Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse by the State of Florida, BSN required.
- Licensed to practice an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) by the Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in maternal, newborn, or women’s health care.
