What You'll Do
- Independently performs systematic assessment of breastfeeding mothers
- Affords assistance with physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of the mother and family
- Plans and implements appropriate interventions
- Evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as needed
Requirements
- Current certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
