- 2 weekday evenings (Mondays & Sundays) training sessions @ Lockleaze Sports Centre
- Wednesday afternoon BUCS fixtures home and away
Description of Services
You will lead on the development of our lacrosse programme and competitive teams with the following responsibilities:
- Delivery of on pitch and sports hall sessions (to include pre-season, trials, training, BUCS fixtures and friendlies)
- Plan all sessions so they meet the needs of the participants and are progressive and appropriate
- Maintain appropriate records of your participants’ progress
- Support the student Club Committee to run the club effectively
- Work with Centre for Sport and SU colleagues to coordinate lacrosse activity
- Engage with coach education opportunities at UWE if desired
Essential requirements
- To hold a level 2 lacrosse coaching certificate or working towards
- To have experience coaching delivery for lacrosse
- To have £10m Public Liability and £5m Professional Indemnity Insurance
