Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

About the role

The position reports to the Director of Athletics and Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach. Key responsibilities include assisting in the athletic development, academic success, and personal growth of student-athletes, executing a college community relations program, representing the department, and participating in recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Coaches or plays goalies or defense with experience preferred.
• Assists the head coach in fostering the athletic development of student-athletes.
• Assists in fostering the academic success of student-athletes.
• Assists in fostering the personal growth of student-athletes.
• Executes an active college community relations program.
• Represents the Department and Student Affairs Division in the College Community.
• Participates in recruiting qualified student-athletes.
• Serves as a manager for selected athletic events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One to three years of intercollegiate participation or coaching experience at an NCAA sponsored institution.
• CPR certified preferred.
