GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Performs routine manual tasks in a school district; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES

  • Performs manual and unskilled tasks requiring physical endurance and willingness to perform heavy work.
  • Constant supervision is maintained over the work.

TYPICAL DUTIES

  • Must be able to regularly drive to various schools and offices throughout Nassau County to pickup and deliver computer equipment and other office products.
  • Must be able to load and unload computer equipment and other office products from trucks.
  • Must have the ability to lift or move 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Must have the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be willing and able to perform miscellaneous office work as requested.

Full Performance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift heavy weights.
  • Ability to work under all weather conditions.
  • Good physical condition.

Minimum Qualifications

Training and experience sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.
