Laborer - Seasonal

Job Summary

Hyannis Country Garden is seeking Seasonal Laborers to assist in the Garden Department.

Qualifications

• Part Time or Full Time
• Seasonal
• Must have weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Work in Pick Up Area assisting Customers to load products into their vehicle
• Receive and display green goods and hard goods merchandise as directed
• Absorb and apply garden selling skills as per training card program
• Maintain company standards as outlined in the policy manual
• Follow instructions for new assignments through a daily working task list

Requirements

• Physical ability and endurance to lift heavy objects repeatedly
• Able to work in all kinds of weather
• A basic knowledge of plants and plant maintenance is desirable but not required
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with the public
• A high school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience as a laborer in the landscape industry is helpful but not necessary
