About the role

Responsibilities
- Prepare areas at jobsites.
- Clean-up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material.
- Auxiliary support for welders, carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople onsite.
- Use power tools and machinery when needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
- Set up and transfer temporary structures.
- Handle and transport materials and/or personnel.
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools.
- Distribute site materials to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Ensure proper distribution of all materials and maintain site cleanliness.
- Promote a safe work environment and verify site security at the end of each business day.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Safe work practices in accordance with Hensel Phelps safety and health program.
- Experience with a wide variety of construction machinery.
- Knowledge of maintenance of various construction equipment.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Creative attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Qualifications
