Laborer - Nashville International Airport Project

About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas at jobsites.
• Clean-up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material.
• Auxiliary support for welders, carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople onsite.
• Use power tools and machinery when needed.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
• Set up and transfer temporary structures.
• Handle and transport materials and/or personnel.
• Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools.
• Distribute site materials to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper distribution of all materials and maintain site cleanliness.
• Promote a safe work environment and verify site security at the end of each business day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Safe work practices in accordance with Hensel Phelps safety and health program.
• Experience with a wide variety of construction machinery.
• Knowledge of maintenance of various construction equipment.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Creative attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications
