Hanover Township is seeking two (2) experienced individuals for a full-time (40 hours/week) position in Public Works, Buildings and Grounds, and Park Maintenance.
About the role
The ideal candidate will perform manual work involving extensive muscular exertion, collect sanitation, recycling, and bulk items, and safely operate trucks and equipment such as sanitation trucks, jet trucks, loaders, dump trucks, sweepers, and smaller equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor requiring significant physical effort
- Collect sanitation, recycling, and bulk items
- Operate and maintain trucks and equipment (sanitation truck, jet truck, loader, dump truck, sweeper, and smaller equipment)
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class “A” or “B” (or willingness and ability to obtain within six months of appointment)
Pay
$35,000 - $75,304 annually or $19.23 - $36.20 per hour.
