Laborer - Horticulture

Overview SUMMARY: Responsible for care of all interior and exterior landscaping. Plants flowers, mows, pulls weeds, maintenance of artificial plants. Responsibilities Performs ground keeping and building maintenance duties.Mows lawnsLandscape by planting flowers, grass shrubs and bushes as needed.Apply fertilizer to enhance growth as neededKnowledge of Irrigation SystemsKnowledge of herbicides and pesticidesSweep walkways of debrisTrim trees and palms as needed.Trim shrubs and pull weeds as needed.Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in departmentRake, mulch and prune the grounds as neededAbility to occasionally work in high places Qualifications Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. High school education, 1 year minimum work experience in landscaping. Knowledge of sprinkler systems. Minimum age requirement is 18.
