Laborer General Foreman (Tier 4) - Kismayo

About the role

Leads one or more teams of laborers/utility workers within an assigned area of responsibility. Ensures labor services are provided in a timely, effective manner to support overall project execution. Performs the work of subordinate personnel as needed, develops and maintains work schedules and routes for labor crews, and works closely with supported management to track ongoing activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor services including soil work, material delivery and removal, jobsite cleanup, refuse removal, site preparation, road surface maintenance, general custodial services, and a variety of manual tasks
• Ensure crew completion of work orders according to specifications and regulations; make recommendations to management
• May provide data to Automated Information Systems (AIS)
• Perform duties in accordance with TM 5-609, AR 40-61, and AR 210-130, as applicable to the facility type
• When supporting Agricultural Cleaning, perform duties in accordance with DTR 4500.9-R
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Minimum of three years of related experience
• Technical skills, job knowledge, and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level to ensure compliance with safety, health, and security requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located
