Laborer

About the role

Uses a variety of tools and equipment to support production operations, such as shovels, brooms, bobcats, forklifts, levels, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Uses shovels or mechanical equipment to remove excess material from beneath the plant
• Loads and delivers materials
• Performs light maintenance
• Lubricates parts
• Ensures compliance to all health and safety, environmental, compliance and human resources policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of one year of experience performing similar responsibilities in a construction/mining/manufacturing environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators

Qualifications

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators
• Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
