Laboratory Technician (PRN)

About the role

The Laboratory Technician at Evolution Research Group (ERG) supports clinical trials by managing documents, conducting assessments, and assisting with various clinical activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, confidential files and documentation of study participants.
• Interact with subjects, staff, and representatives of sponsors or CROs with good customer service.
• Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, vital sign measurements, and ECGs.
• Collect demographic, medical, and medication histories.
• Complete safety assessments and collaborate with team members including the Director of Clinical Operations, Clinical Research Coordinators, Sub-Investigator, and Principal Investigator.
• Enter and respond to queries for data entry in multiple Electronic Data Capture platforms.
• Meet defined goals set by site leadership.
• Comply with ERG's standard operating procedures and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical setting or training/certification as a Medical Assistant/CNA.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
• Ability to adapt behavior to achieve desired outcomes despite changing conditions.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal).
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and proprietary clinical research software.
