Laboratory Technician - Overnight Shift

About the role

Full-time Component Technician working overnight shift (10p–8:30a), responsible for manufacturing blood components (red cells, platelets, plasma) from donations using SOPs and equipment such as centrifuges.

Responsibilities

• Process blood components and review manufacturing documentation.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and validation of equipment and processes.
• Ensure quality control results are accurate and properly documented.
• Enter data and navigate multiple computer programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers; MS Office experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, handling repetitive motions and working with refrigerated or frozen products.

Physical Requirements

• Twisting, bending, squatting, balancing, reaching, and fine motor skills.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Schedule

Overnight shift: 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM.
