Laboratory Technician(Must Have Instron)

About the role

This laboratory technician will perform bench-level mechanical tests of medical devices, adhering to written test procedures and operating without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on measurement of tension and compression forces on medical device products.
• Comply with all regulatory procedures typical in a medical device company.
• Follow detailed technical instructions precisely.
• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in recording and reporting test data.

Requirements

• Experience with using testing equipment in a laboratory or quality control (QC).
• Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail during long test durations.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in using PC software, particularly Excel.

Desired

• Achieved an associate's degree in a technical field.
• Experience working in a regulated industry such as automotive or medical device.
• Experience using mechanical testing machines like the Instron.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and experience using Minitab software.
