Laboratory Technician - Urgent Need

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory maintenance for multiple laboratories following good laboratory procedures.
• Document all work, such as changing refrigerator chart recorder paper, monitoring temperature, emptying laboratories recycle bins, organizing and stocking lab supplies, and distributing glassware.
• Maintain biohazard waste.
• Perform DI water daily flushes and monitor stock levels of Sheath and Shutdown solutions.
• Deliver, set-up, and pickup of lab equipment, lab materials, and office supplies.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective multitasking capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to keep neat, accurate, and complete records and logs.
• Familiar with general GMP/GLP procedures with a strong focus on quality.

Education And Experience

• BS in Biology or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a GMP or GLP environment.
