Lab Technician - Urgent Need

Job Description

Seeks a detail-oriented R&D Lab Technician to join our team and work on testing new technologies for a range of medical devices.

Contribute to establishing test methods to assess the viability of technologies involving the chemical and material aspects of medical devices while supporting stability and degradation testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in completing test procedures, operating test equipment, and accurately recording measurements with limited supervision
• Daily use of laboratory tools and equipment such as weighing balance, pH meter, tensile testers and other measurement related formulation characterization for R&D processes
• Prepare and pack devices for stability assessment
• Communicate results and information verbally and in written form (reports, presentations)
• Willingness to occasionally work with biological specimens (e.g. tissues) for lab scale testing
• Absorb and assist with other projects as needed
