Laboratory Technician - Entry Level (Must Have INSTRON Exp)

Job Summary

This laboratory technician will perform bench-level mechanical tests of medical devices, adhering to written test procedures and maintaining constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on measurement of tension and compression forces on medical device products
• Comply with detailed technical instructions and regulatory procedures
• Maintain attention to detail during long test durations
• Accurately record and report test data

Requirements

• Experience with testing equipment in laboratories or Quality Control (QCA)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in using PC software like Excel

Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomechanical engineering
• Experience in regulated industries such as automotive or medical device
• Experience using mechanical testing machines like the Instron
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and Minitab software
