Laboratory Technician

About the role

Join our team in a role of Lab Technician in our Marshall, TX site. In this role you will perform analytical tests and other laboratory related activities to assure the production and shipment of quality products.

Responsibilities

• Running entry level and/or routine analytical test procedures on samples submitted to the laboratory, including preparing samples for testing, carrying out detailed instructions, and coordinating simultaneous activities without loss of meaningful results
• Maintaining accurate records of measurements and making appropriate observations involved in work assignments
• Recognizing when additional advice or help is needed and distributing results according to issued instructions or procedures
• Assisting in other laboratory activities as needed
• Performing quality and quantity of work to company standards
• Creating a safe and pleasant work environment and following company safety procedures and policies

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience and training
• Ability to follow instructions and perform technical tasks using a variety of laboratory equipment and computers
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate cross-functionally
