Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Quality Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratories in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for medical device and pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cleans lab supplies and glassware
• Operates glass washers and autoclaves
• Builds process control devices
• Properly disposes of hazardous waste
• Performs analytical testing using laboratory equipment such as a scale or pH meter
• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Follows all company housekeeping policies and procedures
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures
• Works overtime as required to meet business requirements
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum Education/Experience: High school degree with 1 year laboratory experience
• Basic Skills: Ability to demonstrate teamwork and strong communication skills; must be detail-oriented; strong time management skills
• Proficient/Working Skills: Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, and follow simple diagrams; ability to use Microsoft Suite
