Laboratory Technician
What's the Job?
Cook up daily workload in the Chemistry, Carbon, and Metals Lab, managing incoming work through the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and prioritizing tasks to meet schedule demands.
Perform titrations for solution analysis of production processing chemistries.
Conduct Salt Fog analysis utilizing standard industry techniques.
Perform Oxygen Nitrogen Hydrogen (ONH), Coined Density, and Fusion Boundary analysis of powder materials.
Prepare samples for X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis and perform metallography techniques such as cross sectioning and microscopic analysis.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a laboratory environment.
- Experience operating laboratory analytical instruments and performing benchtop chemistry techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings accurately.
- Effective documentation and reporting skills using Microsoft Office applications.
