Laboratory Technician
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the execution of studies that include synthesis, scale-up, and formulation of energetic materials for various applications
- Support a broad range of studies in support of development of new energetic materials and formulations for additive manufacturing applications
- Conduct experimental equipment maintenance, setup and takedown
- Conduct analysis and testing as directed
- Capture and prepare analytical and test data
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience in an R&D laboratory setting
- Familiarity with the operation of scientific laboratory equipment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of energetics and/or additive manufacturing
About the Role
The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Laboratory Technician to work at our Picatinny Arsenal, NJ site. The Senior Laboratory Technician will support research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) activities on US Army programs.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
