Laboratory Technician

About the role

Exciting and rewarding science-related position located in Hunt Valley, MD. This position supports the R&D of new products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate food and beverage products for Research and Development
• Prepare and conduct product quality sensory evaluations on sensory samples
• Receive/Ship samples
• Weigh and measure raw material ingredients
• Maintain and manage controls/references
• Keep lab stock and supplies organized and assist in upholding company standards
• Manage the samples inventory database
• Document and file data accurately
• Support customer complaint resolution and corrective actions

Requirements

• Recent science graduate with some work experience (preferably as a server/in food industry and interested in working with food)
• Quick learner, adaptable, ready to go
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; high school diploma acceptable with some lab experience or certification (not a fresh high school graduate)
• Entry level resource
