Laboratory Technician
About the role
Geocomp’s GeoTesting Express (GTX) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Laboratory Team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to launch their career in geotechnical testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing on soil, rock, and geosynthetics
- Collect, record, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Aid with laboratory projects and daily operations as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
- Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and process compliance
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, adaptable, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques
- No prior laboratory experience required — full training will be provided
- Preferred coursework or exposure to earth sciences, geology, civil, or environmental engineering
