Laboratory Technician [2nd shift 4Pm to 12 AM M - F]

About the role

This laboratory technician will perform bench-level mechanical tests of medical devices, following written test procedures and maintaining constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on measurement of tension and compression forces on products.
• Comply with detailed technical instructions and regulatory procedures.
• Maintain concentration and attention to detail during long test durations.
• Accurately record and report test data.

Requirements

• Experience with using testing equipment in a laboratory or QC.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use PC software including Excel.

Desired

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomechanical engineering.
• Experience working in a regulated industry like automotive or medical device.
• Experience using mechanical testing machines such as the Instron.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and Minitab software.

Pay

$40.00 per hour
