Laboratory Technical Coordinator
Job Summary
As our Lab Tech Coordinator, you will perform vital clinical laboratory procedures to detect, identify, measure, and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment. Every day, you will be using technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems, providing essential clinical laboratory support while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.
Responsibilities
- Performing clinical laboratory procedures to detect, identify, measure, and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment.
- Using technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems to provide essential clinical laboratory support.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.
- Coaching laboratory personnel to train for adherence to relevant policies and ethics.
- Overseeing most laboratory day-to-day operations and exercising authority over operational decisions.
- Analyzing and interpreting laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes.
- Participating in laboratory audits and inspections.
- Performing root cause analysis for identified issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Generating reports on quality metrics, instrument performance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating effectively with laboratory management, medical directors, and other laboratory departments.
Job Requirements
- Required Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical or biological science as defined by CLIA.
- Required 2 years of clinical lab experience in the designated lab area/speciality.
- Required CA Clinical Laboratory Science License (CLS License).
- PREFERRED: MT or CLS or MLS certification, ASCP or equivalent (per requirement sheet).

Pay Range
$49.57 - $73.73 /hour
