Laboratory Technical Coordinator
About the role
As our Laboratory Technical Coordinator, you will be a pivotal leader in clinical laboratory operations, overseeing laboratory personnel and processes across one or more sections. You'll ensure strict adherence to quality and compliance standards, providing essential technical and scientific oversight. This role is key to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our laboratory services, supporting critical diagnostic functions within our healthcare system.
Your expertise will directly impact patient care by upholding the highest standards in laboratory testing and personnel competency. Every day you will coach laboratory teams on ethical practices and policy adherence, managing daily operations, and making crucial operational decisions.
Responsibilities
- Coach laboratory personnel to train for adherence to relevant policies and ethics
- Oversee most laboratory day-to-day operations and exercise authority over operational decisions
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes
- Administer laboratory inventories such as supplies, equipment, and consumables
- Assist with selection of test methodology that is appropriate for the laboratory use of the test results
- Verify the test procedures performed and establish the laboratory's test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system
Requirements
Required: Bachelor's of Science in a chemical or biological science as defined by CLIA, and at least 2 years of clinical lab experience in a designated specialty area.

- Chemistry - ASCP (CASCP)
- Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
- Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT-NCA)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $40.38 - $67.95 per hour.
