Laboratory Support Specialist

Arl Bio Pharma is seeking a Laboratory Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package including paid training, medical and dental insurance, and a 401K retirement plan with company match.

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Work Restrictions: Medical marijuana cards are not allowed, and there is random drug testing.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS)
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and mobile phases required for testing
• Perform timely peer review of laboratory notebooks
• Manage samples including retrieval, storage, and disposal
• Work and think independently, yet share ideas and work towards team goals
• Express thoughts in a clear, concise manner both orally and in writing
• Establish the ability to effectively prioritize and plan multiple work activities with varying deadlines and complexities
• Wear, maintain, and properly use appropriate safety equipment

Position Requirements

• High School diploma with 2+ years working experience OR Associate degree in chemistry or related science field OR Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science field
• A minimum of an associate degree in chemistry or related science field is preferred but not required
• Communication proficiency

Work Environment

This job operates in a laboratory environment. Physical demands include standing for prolonged periods, dexterity in fingers and hands, ability to walk and stoop, ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and the ability to see and hear in the normal ranges.
