Laboratory Support Services Supervisor – Phlebotomy – St. Rita's Medical
Job Summary
The Supervisor Lab Support Services supervises the department by coordinating workflows related to all aspects of laboratory support services to include processing, phlebotomy, specimen transport, supply distribution, patient registration, and customer service. They ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Licensing/Certification
- Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)
Education
- High School Diploma/GED (required)
- Associates, Medical Technology or a related science (preferred)
Work Experience
- 5 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting (required)
- Previous experience in a leadership position in customer service environment (preferred)
- If supervising phlebotomy, 3 years phlebotomy experience (required)
Training
No formal training required.
