About the role

As part of the Global Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department, you will support Safety Assessment (SA) and standalone studies across various Immunology and Immunotoxicology platforms. Responsibilities include sample analysis, data review, metrology, and general laboratory support. You will assist with projects, training, and development activities within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and non-routine sample analysis in compliance with GLP, applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment.
  • Provide input and participate in project meetings.
  • Perform QC review of data.
  • Report difficulties, unexpected findings, or deviations that may affect data integrity to the Study Director/Manager, Principal Investigator, or management, and participate in corrective actions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of theory and ability to set up and perform routine and non-routine assays and instrument operations.
  • Develop working knowledge to assist in validating various Immunotoxicology assays.
  • Maintain awareness and compliance with all safety directives and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
  • Support training and assist less experienced staff, prioritize workloads, and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
  • Ensure chemicals and reagents are correctly labeled with associated documentation available.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and client visits/audits as required.
  • Build competency in a comprehensive range of I&I procedures.
  • Develop knowledge to assist in writing methods or protocols.
  • Fully participate in Performance Management Systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related life science.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months or more of wet lab or bench-top experience.

This is an entry-level position; training will be provided.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 1st shift.
